Description

Ribose: Ribose is found naturally in every living cell of the body and is made from glucose. It plays an important role in the synthesis of ribonucleic acid (RNA) and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). Ribose is also the starting point for the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the major source of energy used by our cells for normal function. Ribose supplementation may speed up the regeneration of ATP in muscle cells that have been deprived of oxygen, such as skeletal muscle tissue after intense exercise. Ribose may help increase muscular energy, boost endurance, and promote recovery.
