Description
Olbas Cough Syrup is a pleasant tasting and effective combination of herbal extracts, essential oils and wildflower honey. It is helpful for the temporary relief of coughs due to colds and minor throat or bronchial irritations. Soothing when suffering from hoarseness and sore or dry throat. It is a favorite with children, adults and smokers.
Five herbal extracts, six essential oils and wildflower honey are masterfully blended into this highly effective yet pleasant tasting cough syrup. It is effective in providing temporary relief from coughs due to colds, plus it cools and soothes throat and bronchial irritations. It is freat for both children and adults.
Thyme, containing thymol, possesses antiseptic and antibacterial properties.
The Egyptians and Greeks recognized the benefits of Licorice in treating coughs, and this herb continues to be beneficial for hoarseness, sore throat, and bronchial irritations too.
Plaintain has a natural mucolytic effect (breaks down mucus), and therefore helps suppress the urge to cough.
Pine tends to reduce bronchial secretions and is mildly antiseptic.
Horse Chestnut is also utilized by herbalists as a cough remedy and helps relieve bronchial spasms.
Ingredients
Wildflower Honey, Water, Extracts of Thyme, Licorice, Plantain, Pine and Chestnut, Essential Oils of: Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Cajeput, Wintergreen, Juniper and Clove, Citric Acid.
Suggested Usage
Shake well before using. Adults and children 12 years of age and over: 1-2 teaspoons every 2 hours. Children: 6-12 years: 3/4 teaspoon every 2 hours. Children: 3-6 years: 1/2 teaspoon every 2 hours. Under 3: consult physician.
