What it does:
Fertilizer-His is an effective herbal formulation for infertility improving sperm quality and motility (spontaneous motion). This combination of herbs, vitamins and minerals improves overall health and helps treat many of the deficiencies known to decrease fertility. L-Carnitine is an n amino acid that has been shown to be critical to the formation of healthy, active sperm. Ferulic acid, an antioxidant found in Dong quai, has also been shown to improve sperm quality. The antioxidants vitamin C and E, coenzyme coQ10 and selenium improve overall reproductive health. Zinc and B Vitamins (B6, B12, and folate) are critical nutrients in the male reproductive system for proper hormone metabolism, sperm formation and motility.
As many as 15 % of couples in the U.S. have difficulty conceiving a child. In about one third of these cases, it is the man that is infertile. Most cases of male fertility display an abnormal sperm count or low sperm motility. Even though it takes only one sperm to fertilize an egg, there are many natural barriers in the in the female reproductive system that keep sperm from reaching the egg. Out of 200 million sperm in an average ejaculate, only 40 reach the vicinity of the eggs. Low sperm count or motility dramatically reduces the chances of the sperm reaching the eggs.
