Description

Ayurvedic traditional theory began centuries ago in ancient India. From its early roots to today, ayurveda has represented an overall approach to physical and mental well-being. Preserved through the ages on delicate manuscripts and scrolls, ayurveda is still an important part of life in modern India. Today, researchers continue to study and substantiate, through modern science, many traditional applications for ayurvedic herbs. Ashwagandha concentrates the Withanolides from the roots and leaves of Withania Somnifera, a small, branching, hairy shrub, found in the arid wastelands of Himalayan India.

We prepare our Ashwagandha Extract from dry whole root of Withania somnifera plants which are Certified Organically Grown on our own farm without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides.

To assure optimal extraction of Ashwagandha's bioactive compounds, the root is hand-harvested only in the autumn, is carefully shade-dried to retain its full color and aroma, and is then thoroughly extracted.

Our Ashwagandha is never fumigated or irradiated.

Shake well before using. Two or three times per day take 30 to 40 drops in a little water.
