Description

It would be hard to guess how long cats have known about Catnip (nepeta cataria) but people have appreciated it for at least 2000 years. The plant was introduced to North America from Europe, where it quickly escaped from gardens and spread across the continent, to be used by native Indians and included in their inventory of useful plants. Suggested Usage

The best way to make a good tasting cup of tea is by the infusion method. Place one tea bag into a cup and add no more than 6 oz. of boiling water. Let steep for 3 minutes and remove the bag. Press the bag before removing to enhance the flavor. Add honey to sweeten.
